Pastor Mike and Mrs. Beverly were both raised in Pastor’s homes. Pastor was raised in the home of Rev. G.D. and June Miles who pastored for over 35 years, the last 10 here at The Church at Azle as Co-Pastor. Mrs. Bev was raised in the home of Evangelist Bobby and Delores Miller. They travelled and sang bluegrass gospel music. It just so happened that they travelled and sang at Pastor Mike’s father’s church in Smithfield, Texas. The rest is history. Pastor and Mrs. Bev also travelled with Bobby until April was born. After that The Miles family travelled in evangelism for a few years before becoming the interim Pastor of the Trinity Baptist Church in Azle. After 6 months, the Miles family again travelled in evangelism, pastored several other churches and served as a Christian school administrator.
 On the last Sunday of December 1996, Rev. G.D. Miles and Pastor Mike Miles accepted the call to become Co-Pastors of The Trinity Baptist Church. There were 7 people in attendance. Brother Dwight Miles went home to be with Jesus on January 27, 2011. In March of 2003, after purchasing the property at 1800 South Stewart, the church built a new 28,000 square feet building and moved into the new location in August 2003 at which time the name was changed to The Church At Azle.
Pastor Mike still serves as the Senior Pastor of the church. Pastor has a Master’s Degree from Louisiana Baptist University.
Pastor Mike and Mrs. Bev have 4 children; April, Michael Jr, Matthew and Mackenzie. They have 10 grandchildren.

Chad Geeslin is the Lead Pastor here at The Church at Azle and Campus Pastor at Azle Christian School. He has been serving at TCAA since 2003. He served as the youth pastor for over 12 years before being called to lead the staff and congregation of TCAA in 2016. Chad is a visionary leader, and he is excited to lead TCAA into its next season. He has been married to April Geeslin since 2003 and they have two amazing daughters. They currently live in Springtown, Texas.

April is the daughter of Pastor Mike and Beverly Miles. She is the oldest of 4 children. She has served in various roles within the church since a young girl. She began serving on the worship team in high school and has served as the Worship Pastor at The Church at Azle for over 15 years.
April has a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of North Texas and a Master’s degree in School Counseling from the Lamar University. She also serves as the Head of School at Azle Christian School.
April has been married to lead Pastor Chad Geeslin since 2003 and they have 2 daughters, Laney and Addison. Together, April and Chad take a servant leader approach within the ministry. You can often find them both volunteering in various roles within the church and community.
April loves to read, go antiquing, spend time outside and be with her family.  

John has been pastoring churches for over 50 years with his lovely wife, Jan. Together, they have been attending The Church at Azle since 2016. In his free time, he enjoys writing poetry and has even published a book. John looks forward to once again praying for and visiting the sick, home bound and nursing home residents.

Robert, with his wife Serena have attended and served at The Church at Azle since 2000. Together, they have 4 amazing adult kids and beautiful grandchildren. Robert has over 30 years of budgeting and financial experience. In his free time, he enjoys hunting, golfing and spending time with his family.

Serena along with her husband Robert have attended and served at The Church at Azle since 2000. Together, they have 4 amazing adult kids and beautiful grandchildren. Serena has over 30 years of Banking/Administrative experience and is also a member of the Praise and Worship Team. In her free time she enjoys decorating, traveling and spending time with her family & fur babies. 

James and Susanne met while working in the children’s ministry in 1998 have been married since 1999, together they have 2 children. They have attended The Church at Azle since 2018. They have a heart for reaching the children and families of Azle and surrounding communities.

Zac and Ariss both grew up in Azle, Texas and after meeting for the first time in grade school, God brought them together again at 17 years old and they never looked back! They married in 2017 and have 2 kids. They have been attending the Church at Azle since 2016 and have served in many different areas including worship, coffee bar and safety team. Ariss has been in the worship ministry since 2012 at various churches in the area and has been a part of the TCAA worship team since 2018. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English with an Emphasis in Technical Writing from Tarleton State University. In addition to the Young  Adults Ministry she also serves as part of the administrative staff here at TCAA.
Ariss and Zac have a strong passion to guide the young adults who are just coming out of high school, in college or just figuring out who they are in their 20s and 30s. 
The couple is excited to bring the word of God to the young adults in the community.

Shane and Melissa have been married since 1991 and have 2 beautiful children. They have attended The Church at Azle since January 2016 and have been in ministry for many years together. They have also served in the Couples Ministry. Shane is a veteran of the USMC and was a Chaplain in the Texas State Guard. He has been a part of Men’s Ministry since 2007 and founded Man Up Ministries in 2016. 

Jason has been married to his lovely wife Krystal for over 20 years and together they have adopted 5 wonderful kids. They have been attending TCAA since 2012.
Jason was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, he joined the US Navy directly after high school and served for 7 years before securing an Office Training School spot with the United States Air Force. During active duty he obtained his degree from Columbia College, in addition, Jason also holds a Master’s in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. After retiring from the US Air Force in 2015, Jason prayed and sought wisdom on how he could use his talents for the Kingdom. With the help of the pastors, his vision of Servolution Network came alive and is now its own stand-alone 501c3 with the purpose of building an alliance between churches, businesses and the local government. He believes that together we can do more, serve more and love more.

Justin Hamilton serves on the elder board. He is married to Holly, and they have adopted two children. The family has been a part of TCAA since 2008 and have served in some capacity since. Justin grew up in church as a child but didn’t have a relationship with the Lord until becoming an adult. Over the years, the Lord has worked on him in the area of finances and Justin has a passion for giving. Justin works as a dispatcher for a railroad and loves spending time with his family. In his free time, Justin enjoys hiking and spending time in state parks. He has a goal to visit all of the Texas State Parks in his lifetime.

Holly Hamilton is our Women’s Ministry leader. She married her husband, Justin in 2005. After experiencing infertility, they adopted two children, Isaiah and Hannah. They have seen God move in a mighty way in their family. Holly was called to be a teacher while still in elementary school. She worked for 10 years in public education before God showed her that He was moving her from public to private school in 2017. She is currently serving as elementary principal at Azle Christian School. In her free time, Holly enjoys spending time with her family, running, and traveling.

Matt and Paige McClure have been married since 2005 and have 3 daughters Mailan, Maybree and Teagan. They started attending TCAA in 2007 and have always had a passion in leadership and the younger generation. They have worked in Children’s Church, Youth, Young Adults, and now in our Couples Ministry. “We wanted to give the younger individuals a place to go where they could dig deeper into the Bible and build relationships with other like-minded individuals.” Matt is currently seeking his degree in Apologetics while Paige finishes her Masters in Mental Health Christian Counseling. Their passion for knowledge and truth helps drive their love for God and ministry.

Kristi is married to her wonderful husband and has one child who attends ACS. 
She has been attending and serving at The Church at Azle since 2016. Before becoming a Volunteer Coordinator, she worked in various areas of children’s ministry from nursery to teaching Sunday school. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and spending time with her family. 

Tricia is the mother of one amazing son who has a beautiful wife and two wonderful, energetic boys. She was a member of Gateway Church for six years before moving back to Azle where she was raised and went to school. 
The Church at Azle became her church home in 2018. Before becoming a Volunteer Coordinator, she served in the toddler room. In addition, she is a Financial Service Representative (Banker) for VERITEX Community Bank.
In her free time, she enjoys taking group classes at church, volunteering where needed, riding horses, crafting and game time with family and friends.

Terry has always had a passion for audio and began running sound as a child for his parent’s gospel band. As an adult, he has continued this calling and has been serving and attending The Church at Azle since 2008. In his free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, two adult children and daughter in law. 

Richard started attending The Church at Azle in 1987 when they were still Trinity Baptist Church. He has served in many areas of the church throughout the years such as children's ministry, youth and more. 
In addition, at ACS, he has done everything from teach, coach, drive the bus, maintenance and grounds keeper. wherever there was a need he stepped in to help.
Richard graduated from Azle High School and received his Associates from TCC. He enjoys fishing, racing, anything sports related. In his free time, he spends time with his 2 boys and their families.

Ryan and his wife Crystal began attending The Church at Azle in June 2021. Together, they have 8 children, 6 boys and 2 girls. After attending Liberty Christian Academy, Ryan received his degree from National Christian University. In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities, coaching ACS basketball and baseball, and spending time with his family.

Bio

Barry was born and raised in Cleburne TX. He was led to the Lord on June 2, 1979. He has been involved in church from that moment on in various capacities. He married his lovely wife over 40 years ago and they have 3 beautiful children and 3 grandchildren. He has been a member of The Church at Azle since 2009 and an Elder since 2011. In addition, Barry is a member of the Praise Team and loves worshipping with all of his heart.

Danny has been married since 1991 and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He has been attending The Church at Azle since 2003 and has served in a variety of areas. He became an Elder in the church in 2021. In addition, he has worked for Tri County Electric for over 20 years. In his free time, he enjoys building classic cars, bucking bulls, and spending time with his family.

Jackson grew up in Woodland Park, Colorado where his family pastored multiple churches throughout his life before moving to Texas in 2020 to pastor a church in Houston. He began playing drums and guitar for the church at the age of 11 and fell in love with music and found his voice shortly after. He has a passion for leading worship and plans on pursuing a Worship Arts degree. In his free time he enjoys playing sports and practicing music.
