The Trinity Baptist Church was founded in 1976 by a group of believers who wanted a Fundamental, Independent Baptist Church in Azle, Texas. There were three pastors prior to G.D. Miles becoming the pastor in 1983. He would pastor the church from 1983-1995. He would then enter the mission field with the Choctaw Indians.
The church quickly declined under its new pastor, and by December 1996 had only one family actively attending. It was on December 29, 1996, that Pastor G.D. Miles and his son Mike Miles, would begin "co-pastoring.”
By late 2001, the church had grown from 7 to around 300. The church began looking for new property and in March 2003 the church agreed to purchase the property at 1801 South Stewart Street. In August 2003, the Trinity Baptist Church moved to the new property with a new name, The Church at Azle .

We are seeing God move in amazing ways here at TCAA.  With three hours of worship and countless ministries meeting throughout the week God continues to move. We see our church as a movement that continues to gain momentum. Jesus Christ said, “I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it.”
We have seen that truth displayed right before our eyes.
The amazing work being done through our church is nothing more than the Grace and Power of Jesus Christ. God continues to build His church.
