Colossians 3:15-17

1. Where it Starts - in the heart. Verse 15

LET(to allow) peace rule or dwell in your heart. When we do –

A. Peace will answer when chaos calls.

B. Peace will answer when trouble comes.

C. Peace will answer even when we make bad choices.

2. What we must Submit to – The Word. Verse 16

The Word guides, the Word shows us gentleness, the Word allows us to be genuine.

A. Reflection – He will never leave me, He will supply all my needs, His word is a light in darkness, His

Word speaks life into every situation.

B. Revelation – the Word reveals His thoughts toward us.

C. Conviction – yep the Word will correct us.

D. Exhortation- the Word will encourage us.

3. Who will Strengthen our Walk – whatever you do give Thanks to God. Verse 17

A. Our walk should resemble Christlike actions. Ps. 19:14

B. Our ways should lead others to Christ. Ps. 139:24

C. Our will must be submitted to His. Luke 9:23-26
