1. His Position in Life

a. He was a blind

b. He was a beggar

c. He was bound up by darkness

2. The Power of Crying out

a. He heard that it was Jesus. 

b. He hoped that Jesus would hear him. 

c. His help came from those around him – choose your crowd carefully. 

3. The Possibility he encountered

a. Jesus stood still. 

b. The blind man spoke out. 

c. His sight was immediately restored. 

In 1983 NC State led by Coach Jimmy Volvano would pull off one of the biggest upsets ever by winning the national Championship. Houston had Akeem Oljuan and Clyde Drexler. They came in ranked 1 in every poll and had a record of 31-2. NC State came in 26-9 ranked 16th. 

10 years later Volvano who was diagnosed with terminal cancer returned to give a speech on the anniversary of the win.
